I love it when the weather turns warm and summer activities can begin. Especially because our boys love the beach so much! One warm afternoon we met our friends, the Latimers, out at Tolmie State Park to play and enjoy the sunshine. Ashton fell asleep on the way there and just wouldn't wake up when we arrived. So we laid him on a blanket in the shade and I was cracking up at him just lying there, spread-eagle, sleeping while we played around him. Being the youngest is tiring--trying to keep up with those older brothers!
The bigger boys wandered down a little stream that lead out to the beach. The mud happened to be really mucky that day and they actually ended up being totally stuck in the mud! Tristan had to go down and rescue them and then do search and recovery for some missing shoes!

But really, it was a fun time!
The boys love discovering the treasures out at Tolmie: sand dollars, crabs, shells...there's so much to find out there!

It ended up being a great afternoon and we headed out to eat afterwards. It's fun having friends with boys that like to get into messy adventures with us!
