Time for some Easter festivities! We colored our Easter eggs before Tristan headed out for work. We learned that we needed to clarify what "dying" Easter eggs meant...Ethan thought it meant we were killing them, which is a little morbid. Haha. Carter was very careful as he worked on his batch.
Ethan was hard at work as well.
Ashton was, well, a mess. He got into our recycling bin and cut his finger on a can. So doing eggs was even more of a challenge for him. But he gets an "A" for effort!
Tristan was gone for Easter and it was General Conference weekend, so we didn't have church services this year. So we enjoyed a low-key morning and watched Conference at home. Ashton was very excited about his haul from the Easter bunny.

We had a yummy breakfast with Grandpa Walker and then prepared for the egg hunt.
It's hard to juggle three searching boys! They were good seekers, though!!

So this....not great. I wouldn't make it again. But it was fun. And sugary. Haha.
We are grateful that we got to celebrate and remember the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ, at home together. We missed Tristan, but enjoyed drawing the celebration out a little bit longer and doing some of our fun traditions with him before he left. Bring on spring weather!!
